After a decade of publishing articles for travel and lifestyle magazines and websites like Travel+Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, Lonely Planet, San Diego Magazine and more, I’m doing something that scares me.

I’m launching my own corner of the internet (a newsletter!) that expands on what drew me to travel storytelling in the first place—a curiosity for life’s deliciousness. It’s about the food (always), and the people and places that make our world unique.

My newsletter will publish quarterly, and include anecdotes from my reporting trips around the world—the stuff that didn’t make it into the final article. It’ll also include notes on what I’ve been noticing about these places of late, previews of where I’m headed next, and blurbs from my life at home in San Diego.
